The Lord is offering a new Covenant

"I have been sent to give these three messages. I do know God. I have been ministered to by Him and He has prepared me to minister to others. Like Paul, who was sent by God, I will also tell you of an unchangeable God, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His message requires the same from you today as it did when Jesus Christ first taught in Galilee and Judea." ~Denver C. Snuffer, Jr.

A Challenge to you from the lord

Alma 32

"...do ye not suppose that they are more blessed who truly humble themselves because of the word?  Yea, he that truly humbleth himself, and repenteth of his sins, and endureth to the end, the same shall be blessed—yea, much more blessed than they who are compelled to be humble because of their exceeding poverty.

"Therefore, blessed are they who humble themselves without being compelled to be humble; or rather, in other words, blessed is he that believeth in the word of God, and is baptized without stubbornness of heart, yea, without being brought to know the word, or even compelled to know, before they will believe."

The first chapter I read:

Alma 32 was the first chapter in the BoM I read back in 1989 when I heard of it for the first time.

What inspired me was the challenge to humble myself without being compelled to be humble. We are blessed much more for humbling ourselves.

This opportunity presents itself to you right now.

Matthew 7:5

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Luke 15:8-10

8 ¶ Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one apiece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?

9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

The ball is in your court

Alma 42:27

"...whosoever will come may come and partake of the waters of life freely; and whosoever will not come the same is not compelled to come; but in the last day it shall be restored unto him according to his deeds."

Similarly stated:

"If you are not willing to learn no one can help you. If you are determined to learn no one can stop you."  Zig Ziglar
